An initial initial osteopathic treatment can be up to 45 minutes. Together you and the osteopath discuss the reason for your visit and your case history. Following this the Osteopath will conduct an osteopathic examination and then provide the osteopathic treatment.
There will be paperwork to complete on arrival, so please bring reading glasses if needed.
You do not need a referral to see an Osteopath, however if you have any x-rays or medical reports it may be helpful to bring these along.
If you have been referred by a GP please bring all relevant paperwork.
Further treatments are scheduled for 30 minutes each.
Initial Osteopathic treatment $95 ($85 concession)
Ongoing Osteopathic treatment $85 ($75 concession)
Concession rates are available to health care card, pension card and student card holders.
If you have a chronic illness your GP can register you on a Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program, more recently known as a Chronic Disease Management Plan. With this plan you may receive up to 5 allied health appointments per year. Any referrals written for myself will attract a Medicare re-imbursement of $53.80 however all care plan and referral paperwork, medicare card and a debit card must be brought to the appointment.
A HICAPS facility is available for those with private health cover extras. In having this facility the private cover fund will be charged automatically and you will only need to pay the gap.
We also accept Cash, Visa and MasterCard, and we do see TAC, worksafe and DVA clients however these 3rd party payers are not billed directly.
Cancelling or missed appointments:
If you need to change or cancel your appointment time you must provide 3 hours notice. You will be consequently charged a $40 booking fee if not.
A reminder text and email is always sent the day prior to your appointment.
